- Prospective Residents
New residents at Trinity are provided with a single study/bedroom with a balcony and shared bathroom facilities. Your room is an important part of your life at College but you will quickly discover that your shared corridor and wing facilities play a big part in helping you meet your peers and develop new friendships.
Returning residents can indicate a preference for where they would like to live in their next year of college life. Room allocation is based on years at College, contribution to college life and academic progress.
Second year residents typically get a larger room while third and later years can apply for air-conditioned single rooms (some with ensuites) or two-bedroom units. For more senior residents, there is also some apartment-style accommodation with additional living areas.
All Trinity residents pay the same weekly fee regardless of accommodation type and free parking is guaranteed for returning residents. This is our way of rewarding the more senior residents at Trinity.
A Typical Resident Room
Every study/bedroom is fully furnished with a comfy bed, a study desk, chair and lamp, wardrobe, bookshelf and rubbish bin. Each room also contains a small fridge, fan and heater. A complimentary set of linen is provided to all new residents, that you may keep upon departing College. All rooms are equipped with a telephone, and both Wi-Fi and Ethernet internet connections.
You are more than welcome to personalise and accessorise your room with duvet/doona and pillow covers, a sound system, television, pot plants, photos, mementoes and other favourite bits and pieces. When you decorate your room you’ll be surprised how quickly it will feel like home! For recommendations of what to bring, click here.
Your room is cleaned weekly, however you are responsible for the general tidiness of your room. All communal areas are cleaned daily.
Work, play and breathe in our spacious surrounds.
Trinity has some of the most beautiful grounds across College Row. Our two large grassy quads are perfect for kicking a footy, playing Frisbee or relaxing in the sun. Our Wi-Fi reaches across both quads, so making use of the outdoor tables can be a great way to study on your own or with friends in the warmer weather. We also have many smaller quads around the wings.
Outdoor barbecues are available for residents to use, and there are many outdoor dining areas around the Dining Room. Having brunch in the sun with friends on Sunday morning is a much-loved pastime at Trinity.
Our grounds also contain our basketball half-court and full-size multi-purpose court (most often used for tennis). Find out more about our recreation facilities here.
Trinity’s grounds are fully-secured with fob-access gates into both the grounds and the wings. We also have security cameras and patrolling security every night of the week. Aside from keeping you safe, this also gives you the peace of mind that your belongings are safe and secure when you leave your room.
Trinity is just a short 30 second walk from The University of Western Australia, giving you every-day access to their stunning grounds.
