Scholarships

Trinity offers a range of scholarships to both new and returning residents.

 

New Residents ($2000 per scholarship)

Scholarships are awarded to new residents with outstanding high school academic records. Trinity Awards consider both academic record and contribution to the community.

New residents who are beginning full-time, first tertiary year studies are eligible for:

Trinity Awards (multiple): Awarded to new residents with a strong academic record and a demonstrated involvement and contribution to their community.

William Ellis Scholarship: Awarded to the best student from a Uniting Church school in Australia.

McKenna Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to the best academic student from a school in rural Western Australia.

Ada Purnell Scholarships (multiple): Awarded to new residents from Western Australian schools who achieve an ATAR of 97.0 or greater.

 

If you are a new resident applying to live at Trinity and would like to apply for a Trinity Award*, please fill out this form and return it to the College.

 

Returning Residents ($2500 per scholarship)

Scholarships are awarded to returning residents in recognition of satisfactory academic progress, contribution to College life or the wider community, and potential for continued contribution and leadership within the College community.

Residents who are enrolled in a full-time course and are returning to residence at Trinity are eligible for:

Trinity Awards (multiple): Residents must have completed at least one academic year at Trinity.

Robinson Scholarships (multiple): Residents must have completed at least one academic year at Trinity.

Walker Scholarship: The resident must have completed at least one academic year at Trinity.

Craig Scholarships (multiple): Residents must have completed at least two academic years at Trinity.

Leigh-Cook Scholarships (multiple): Residents must have completed at least three academic years at Trinity.

O’Connell Graduate Scholarships (multiple): For residents beginning post-graduate studies.

 

Please Note:

  • *All scholarships are allocated, i.e. no application is required, except in the case of Trinity Awards. Trinity Awards for both new and returning residents must be applied for by the student.
  • A resident who is a recipient of a Fogarty scholarship is ineligible for a Trinity academic scholarship (however they are still eligible for cultural and community service-based scholarships).
  • Recipients are expected to meet their obligations as award holders in the College.
